Lux Organi. Meditation of Music and Light | Culture Night 2025

Lux Organi invites all culture night wanderers on a luminous musical journey – a meditative night between the grandeur of Johann Sebastian Bach and the mysticism of Olivier Messiaen.

The evening will culminate in a hypnotic performance of Bach’s Concerto for Two Violins, featuring violinists Rasa Vosyliūtė and Barbora Domarkaitė.

Dainius Sverdiolas is one of the most prominent figures on Lithuania’s organ scene. Since the 1980s, he has performed in both historic Lithuanian churches and unexpected spaces, with an artistic vision embracing the monumental music of early eras and the rich Lithuanian organ heritage.
“Lux Organi. Meditation of Music and Light” is the fruit of his lifelong experience and creative vision – an invitation to immerse yourself in sacred depth and musical magnificence.
