Slow Fashion Club in the Creative Lab

A new initiative is coming to life at the Vilnius County Adomas Mickevičius Public Library – the Slow Fashion Club.

We invite everyone interested in sustainable fashion to join us on May 23 from 4 PM to 7 PM in the Creative Lab.

This event encourages you to bring your clothing in need of repair or a refresh: torn jeans, ripped seams, missing buttons, or shirts you’d like to give a new life. You’ll have the chance to try out a heat press and a sewing machine, which you can use to create appliqués and update your clothes. Whether you’re experienced in sewing or just starting out, you’re welcome – we’ll share our knowledge and collaborate on creative projects.

We’ll also take the opportunity to talk about sustainable fashion and mindful consumption.

The Creative Lab is located on the second floor of the library.
