Could you imagine Lithuania without Stasys Povilaitis’ songs? We couldn’t. That’s why we’re inviting you to a concert in which you’ll be singing along with the soloists. It simply cannot be any other way when you hear your favourite melodies that have stood the test of time. This time they’ll be performed by the charismatic Liudas Mikalauskas and Egidijus Bavikinas.

They’ll be taking to the stage ready with a stack of hits, including – “Švieski man vėl” [Shine for me again], “Sudeginti tiltai” [Burnt bridges] and “Vyšnių sodai” [Cherry orchards], and will share some fun memories of the maestro. And the brass sextet Brass Bravo will make sure the songs sound just like the originals.

Even though Stasys Povilaitis’ voice fell silent ten years ago, the maestro’s songs live on in our hearts. At this concert, they’ll not only beat faster but in unison, to one rhythm. You’ll be more than just members of the audience this evening, where we’ll be creating the magic together!
