JOHN’S FESTIVAL IN VILNIUS: A FESTIVE PROGRAM AND SEARCH FOR THE FERN BLOSSOM AWAIT AT ŠEŠKIUKAS LAKE!

As the shortest night of the year approaches, the Fabijoniškės and Šeškinė elderships of Vilnius invite all city residents and guests to celebrate St. John’s Festival (Joninės) at Šeškiukas Lake, combining traditional and modern festivities. The celebration will begin on Friday, June 20th, at 5 PM. The John’s Festival promises an unforgettable evening full of entertainment, music, and surprises. From the very beginning of the event, visitors will enjoy a variety of activities: animators , sports tasks , foam show , and creative workshops where traditional wreaths can be woven. The highlight of the evening will be the St. John’s bonfire and, of course, the search for the legendary fern blossom – who will be the lucky one to find it? The musical program will feature a live concert with well-known performers: Šarūnas Mačiulis (Poliarizuoti stiklai) , Funky , Timohi , Bičiuliai , and Eliya Maris. After the concert, from 11 PM, attendees will enjoy a disco. During the event, attendees will also be provided with refreshments – there will be hot food and dessert stalls , as well as cold and refreshing drinks. St. John’s Festival at Šeškiukas Lake (park next to Gelvonų str. 61) is a great opportunity to spend time with family and friends, enjoy nature, and celebrate the most beautiful summer holiday together.
