Cyclists summer season kick-off

On May 1st, we invite all cycling enthusiasts and city lovers to join the traditional summer season opening bike parade in Vilnius!

This is more than just a fun ride – it’s a symbolic start to an active, greener, and healthier warm season.
This year’s parade is extra special – it’s organized in cooperation with the “Vilnius – European Green Capital 2025” initiative!

What to expect?
A fun and united cycling column rolling through the most beautiful and green streets of Vilnius
The parade finishes at Valakampiai First Beach, where you’ll find:
– Engaging activities
– Food truck
– Music, relaxation, and good times with fellow cyclists

This parade is a great way not only to kick off the cycling season but also to contribute to building a greener Vilnius.
A bicycle is more than a mode of transport – it’s a conscious choice for a healthier lifestyle, a cleaner city, and a more connected community.

Important information for participants:
• Please follow the instructions of event leaders – let’s keep everyone safe!
• Observe traffic rules at all times.
• When stopping, raise your hand to signal those behind you and avoid collisions.
• Use hand signals for turning:
– Left turn – extend your left arm
– Right turn – extend your right arm
• Helmets are recommended for all and mandatory for participants under 18.
