Not long ago, Donatas Montvydas’ fans rocked the Žalgiris Arena at a spectacular concert, and today the musician is already thinking about his next big performance, an open-air concert on August 29.

“I told my team that I wanted to wait until the concert at Žalgiris Arena takes place before deciding whether to organize another grand performance in 2025. And this experience has proven once again what an amazing audience I have. A packed arena, people who stayed until the last chord despite technical difficulties: it’s incredibly inspiring. Creativity is a continuous process, so there’s no time to rest, I’m diving into the new year full of work and ideas to implement,” says D. Montvydas.

The musical end of the summer season will take place in a special location, Kalnų Park surrounded by nature. It is like a symbolic return of D. Montvydas to his hometown, to a place he knows very well since his childhood.

“We are working intensively with various departments and creative professionals. We are increasing our creative team for this concert. Since we still have time, we want to prepare as thoroughly as possible. Kalnų Park has never seen the kind of stage design and visual solutions we are preparing. Of course, we will face challenges: the venue itself dictates certain rules, but we have already prepared drawings of different scenes and demo versions of the songs. This concert will feature not just one or two new songs, it will be their first live encounter with the audience,” D. Montvydas teases the audience.
