Agnė Pasaravičienė – Towards True Self (album presentation) | Culture Night 2025

The family duo Agnė Pasaravičienė (keyboards) and Tadas Pasaravičius (saxophone) have been playing together for ten years. During this time they have performed with various ensembles at prestigious European jazz festivals and concert halls. In addition to her active concert career, Agnė has won recognition in international composers’ competitions, and Tadas has made his musical mark on several albums by Danish jazz musicians.

They currently live in Dzūkija, surrounded by nature, where they cherish their personal and creative values – love of nature and harmonious relationship with the environment. These values are also reflected in their music, which is an invitation to the listener to enter into a reflective encounter with oneself.

The artists will present Agnė Pasaravičienė’s latest album “Towards True Self”. Performed as a duet, this music will take on a rich intimacy and heart-touching fragility. During the performance, the musicians will not only play, but also share the stories of the pieces and the emotions that inspired them, inviting the audience to relax and immerse themselves in expressive musical improvisations.

Because where music and nature merge, there is a space to meet oneself, one’s memories and feelings.

About the performers:

Agnė Pasaravičienė is a composer, pianist, contemporary improvising musician, whose professional experience includes being a band leader, composer, arranger. Since 2020, her compositions have been recognised and awarded in various international competitions, and her music has been included in several compilation albums and performed at Danish and Lithuanian music festivals.

Tadas Pasaravičius is a jazz musician, saxophonist and cultural activist whose ambition is not only to play, but also to contribute to the dissemination of jazz music.
