Step into the delicate world of traditional Lithuanian straw art. Known as a miniature “model of the world,” the šiaudinis sodas (straw garden) has long played a role in Lithuanian customs. These geometric mobiles were crafted for weddings, christenings, and seasonal celebrations. Suspended above the table, they created a sacred space – a symbol of the heavenly garden, paradise, or the afterlife.
