Puppet show for children “Thumbelina”

The actress Nijolė Indriūnaitė has made her name not only as an actress, but also as the author of poetic texts. She has put into verse such cult fairy tales as “The Little Match Girl”, “Cinderella” and “Thumbelina”. The lyrics of these plays contain an intricate and mature metaphors, but at the same time it is miraculously simple and attractive to an audience of children.

The outstanding Lithuanian puppeteer Rimas Driežis has made more than 30 performances during more than twenty years of creative activity. The performance is played in Lithuanian, the libretto text is given to the audience before the show.
