Exhibition „Three Friends“ by Gintaras Vyšniauskas, Hermis Preikštas and Rolandas Butkevičius

We invite you to visit the exhibition of artworks „Three Friends“ by Gintaras Vyšniauskas, Hermis Preikštas and Rolandas Butkevičius at Gallery A (Saulėtekio al. 14, 2nd floor).

This is the first joint exhibition by three creators who have known each other since their school days at Vilnius Sausio 13-osios Gymnasium. Their friendship began back in 1975 – during the austere Soviet times – when material goods were scarce, but ideas and creativity were in no short supply. Each of them grew, searched, and created along their own path, and today they reunite in an exhibition that symbolizes their long-lasting friendship and creative journey.

About the authors:

Gintaras Vyšniauskas – an engineering professional who turned to art out of calling and curiosity. Although he describes himself as a self-taught artist, his work is filled with perseverance and a strong desire for self-expression through painting.

Hermis Preikštas – an actor, songwriter, and performer, as well as an artistic photography enthusiast. Since his school days, he has been painting and composing music. He chose the path of acting, and today his visual creativity plays an equally important role in his life.

Rolandas Butkevičius – a painter and poet who was raised in an artistic environment. He has held numerous exhibitions, and his works are part of private collections in Lithuania and abroad.

The exhibition presents a collection of paintings by these three classmates – a story about friendship, time, and creative expression.

The official opening of the exhibition will take place on June 19 (Thursday), 4.00 p.m., crowned by a concert of Hermis Preikštas’ original songs.
