We invite you to a summer concert featuring British pianist Alexander Ullman.

Praised by “The Scotsman” for his “powerful musical intellect and technical mastery,” British pianist Alexander Ullman has captivated audiences and critics around the world with the depth of his musical vision and elegant mastery.

After winning the international Franz Liszt Piano Competition in Utrecht in 2017, Ullman has given recitals in Germany, Austria, Hungary, the Netherlands, Poland, Italy, Georgia, Mexico, France, Spain, South Korea, India, Colombia, China, the United States, and his native United Kingdom. He has performed with the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, the Sofia Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, the Brno Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie Symphony Orchestra, the Lower Austrian Tonkünstler Orchestra, the SWR Symphony Orchestra, the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, the Norwegian Radio Orchestra, the Budapest Radio Orchestra, the Korean Symphony Orchestra, as well as the New Jersey, Fort Worth, and Montreal Symphony Orchestras. He has recorded three albums.

He first attracted international attention in 2011 when he won the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition in Budapest. He was represented by the “Young Classical Artists Trust” (YCAT) from 2014 to 2017. Ullman was born in London in 1991 and studied at the Purcell School, the Curtis Institute, and the Royal College of Music. In 2017, he received his artist diploma as a Benjamin Britten Piano Scholar (awarded by the Philip Loubser Foundation). His teachers included William Fong, Leon Fleisher, Ignat Solzhenitsyn, Robert McDonald, Dmitri Alexeev, Ian Jones, and Elisso Virsaladze.
