Vilnius Public Health Bureau “Vilnius sveikiau” together with “Vilnius – Green Capital of Europe” invites working-age individuals to spend their summer Mondays and Wednesdays practicing yoga in Vingis Park
AGE OF PARTICIPANTS: 18–64 years
DATES: June 2–30
TIME: Mondays and Wednesdays from 19:00 to 20:00
COST: Free of charge
REGISTRATION REQUIRED: Up to 50 participants can register per session.
Important: The sessions will be conducted only in Lithuanian.
During the program:
• You will be introduced to and experience a synthesis of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga;
• sessions will be led by certified Kundalini (KRI Level I & II) and Hatha (Yoga Alliance RYS200) yoga instructor Sandra Rutkauskaitė – Saran Tiaga Kaur;
• please bring your own exercise mat and a bottle of water.
The sessions will combine static Hatha yoga asanas into dynamic Vinyasa sequences, where movement is synchronized with the rhythm of breath. Asanas will be held for several breath cycles, allowing the body to go deeper into the posture and experience its effect. This practice is suitable for both beginners and advanced participants – everyone can find their own pace and deepen self-awareness through movement, breath, and mindfulness.
