World team discgolf championship 2026

In September 2026, Vilnius will become the disc golf capital of the world, hosting the World Disc Golf Championship for the first time in the Baltic States.

The best disc golf players from at least 32 countries will arrive in Lithuania, including the United States, Finland, Germany, Japan, Canada, Australia, and other top disc golf nations. Each country will delegate its strongest players, who will compete as a team of 6 members (with up to 4 substitutes). After five intense days in the disc golf parks of Vilnius, the new world champions will be crowned.

The competition will take place at the Vilnius Pučkoriai Disc Golf Park and a newly established disc golf park nearby. The parks and disc golf infrastructure will be upgraded and adapted for a top-level championship. Lithuania has been famous for its rapidly growing disc golf community for several years now.
