For the 12th time, not only Vilnius but all of Lithuania will be dancing again!

On September 18 at 6 p.m., we invite you to gather at Vincas Kudirka Square and learn fun, lively, or elegant traditional dances together! The following groups will help you have fun and make it easier to remember the steps:

• Vilnius City Folklore Ensemble “Virvytė” (led by Loreta Sungailienė), which this time will invite you to enjoy the dance steps of Aukštaitija;
• Vilnius City Folklore Ensemble “Jorė” (led by Rūta Montrimaitė-Aleksiūnienė) will not let you resist the steps of the polka from Dzūkija on that day;
• Folklore group “Apvynys” (led by Titas Mockevičius), which will delight you with a variety of traditional melodies from Suvalkija;
• Vilnius City Youth Folklore Ensemble “Poringės” and the Vilnius City Folklore Ensembles “Nalšia” and “Radasta“ (led by Audronė Vakarinienė), which will show you the subtleties of the dances dances from Lithuania Minor;
• Vilnius City Folklore Ensemble “Laukis” and Vilnius Duke Gediminas Pro-Gymnasium folklore ensemble “Pamedėlis” (led by Lijana Šarkaitė-Viluma) will not only teach you Samogitian dances, but also help you decipher their unusual names.

This event will be photographed and filmed, and photos or videos can be posted on social networks or other media.
