Vilnius Review 2026 Launch

Join us on 3 September at 7 PM at Films & Coffee for the launch of the new issue of Vilnius Review, Lithuania’s literary magazine in English translation.

Published annually, Vilnius Review brings contemporary Lithuanian literature to international readers through English translations of poetry, fiction, essays and criticism.

The evening will bring together authors Vitalija Maksvytė, Dovydas Grajauskas, Marius Burokas, Gražina Kelmelytė, and Greta Leigaitė, and translators Rimas Užgiris, Eglė Elena Murauskaitė, Agnieška Leščinska and Markas Aurelijus Piesinas, Kotryna Garanašvili, together with Editor-in-Chief Saulius Vasiliauskas.
The event will be held in English.

About Vilnius Review

Vilnius Review is an English-language platform and annual print magazine dedicated to contemporary Lithuanian literature in translation. In recent years, it has received a D&AD Wood Pencil for its design, published a special French issue for the Lithuanian Season in France, and expanded its international distribution through selected bookstores and Newsstand.

The event is supported by the Vilnius City Municipality.
