Immanuel Wilkins Quartet (US)
The jazz vision of the youthfully energetic, yet extremely mature saxophonist and composer Immanuel Wilkins Quartet: to break away from tradition and soar to new heights.
The collective consists of the front-runners of the new generation jazz musicians: drummer Kweku Sumbry, bassist Rick Rosato, and pianist Micah Thomas. Their debut album Omega, released in 2020, was voted as the Best Jazz Album of the year by The New York Times.
The talent and recognition of Wilkins are perfectly illustrated by the DownBeat Critics Poll trifecta: Alto Saxophonist of the Year, Rising Star Group of the Year and Rising Star Composer of the Year.

The main stage of the 23rd Vilnius Mama Jazz festival, at the New Hall of the Lithuanian National Drama Theatre, will host six concerts over four days, featuring the well-known jazz masters and the latest jazz trendsetters.
