The Underground Readings are an annual literary event that has been taking place since 2010. Each year, it takes the audience to a different underground location, such as a church crypt, the cellar of a mansion, castle, or other building. This allows for the presentation of the most recent writings as well as the synthesis of unique spaces and literature.
The event stands out from other literary events of this type because of its concept, the constant change of spaces and participants, and the relatively large audience. Many contemporary Lithuanian writers have participated in this readings.
