Under the Umbrella of the Lithuanian Language and Culture

On May 26 at 6:00 PM, Vilnius Town Hall will host the international poetry festival Poetry Spring event “Under the Umbrella of the Lithuanian Language and Culture,” featuring performers from Lithuania and around the world.

The evening will showcase poetry, songs, and music by renowned Lithuanian artists presented by children and youth.

The program includes works by Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis, Justinas Marcinkevičius, Janina Degutytė, Antanas Miškinis, Sigitas Geda, Laimis Vilkončius, Giedrius Kuprevičius, Henrikas Radauskas, Evelina Daciūtė, and others.
Well-known Lithuanian literary and musical pieces will be reinterpreted by participants from Lithuania, Ukraine, Poland, Turkey, Georgia, Spain, Denmark, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kenya, and other countries.

The event aims to inspire multicultural communities in Lithuania to explore Lithuanian culture, strengthen intercultural dialogue, and encourage creative collaboration.
Under the Umbrella of the Lithuanian Language and Culture, it is initiated and organized by the Baltic–Turkish Culture Academy in partnership with cultural and educational institutions.
