M.K. Čiurlionis – 150!
You are invited to a special concert celebrating the 150th anniversary of the brilliant Lithuanian composer Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis. The event will feature the Vilnius University Mixed Choir “Pro Musica” and composer, founder and conductor of the New Ideas Chamber Orchestra (NICO), Gediminas Gelgotas. The program includes Čiurlionis’ piano miniatures, Lithuanian folk songs, sacred hymns, and a contemporary piece by Donatas Zakaras inspired by the composer’s life.
