Summer in the House of Signatories: guided tours in English

Join us for guided tours in English every Tuesday*, Thursday and Saturday at 3 p.m. throughout the summer of 2025.

The House of Signatories is the historical site where the Act of Independence of Lithuania was signed on 16 February 1918 — a document expressing the idea of a free and modern Lithuanian state.

Over 100 years ago, amid the challenges of the early 20th century, the foundations of modern Lithuania were laid by various societal groups engaged in lively debates on the state’s vision and values.

During the tour, visitors will hear the story of the idea of freedom in modern Lithuania, exploring its origins and contemporary manifestations in an authentic setting.

No registration is needed. The tour starts at the museum ticket office at Pilies Str. 26, Vilnius
