For the first time in the Baltic States and at the Vaidila Theater in Vilnius – the Kansas State University Symphony Orchestra from the USA, led by the charismatic conductor and educator Dr. Rachel Dirks!

This orchestra is a vibrant and diverse community of musicians. After numerous concert tours across the American Midwest, the orchestra is thrilled to present its program to audiences in Lithuania.

The program features everything from classical masterpieces to contemporary works, all united by a common vision: music as a form of connection.

Dr. Rachel Dirks, who leads the orchestra, is Director of Orchestral Studies at Kansas State University. She is an active conductor and educator whose work on the emotional well-being of musicians is recognized internationally. She believes that music is not only an art form – it is a way to build community.
