Their artistic partnership is further documented in the publication Caballé 40 anys al Liceu, which captures the historic production of Camille Saint-Saëns’ opera Henry VIII at Barcelona’s *Gran Teatre del Liceu. In this production, Montserrat Caballé performed the role of Catherine of Aragon, while Nomeda Kazlaus sang Anne Boleyn. The production was recorded by Spanish television and released on DVD.
International critics, including those from Opera News and Opera Now, have praised Nomeda Kazlaus for her powerful and impressive voice, distinctive timbre, wide vocal range, exceptional musicality, precise intonation across all registers, and emotionally compelling stage presence.
