On September 26, DOWNTOWN PIANO LAB invites you to a special concert marking the centenary of Miles Davis’s birth. This is a musical tribute to the legendary trumpeter, composer, and visionary who irrevocably changed the history of jazz.

Miles Davis’s music constantly transcended the boundaries of its time—ranging from subtle ballads and the elegance of “cool jazz” to bold experiments, improvisation, and the sounds of electric jazz. His work continues to inspire musicians worldwide, and albums such as *Kind of Blue*, *Bitches Brew*, and *Sketches of Spain* have become integral parts of music history.

On this exceptional evening, four talented musicians from the Lithuanian jazz scene will interpret the music of Miles Davis. The audience can look forward to a lively, dynamic musical dialogue full of surprises, where respect for the jazz legend meets the performers’ own creative freedom.
