VOŁOSI is a groundbreaking Polish string ensemble rooted in the musical traditions of the Silesian Beskids. Their music blends the raw energy of Carpathian folk with elements of jazz, rock, and world music, creating a sound that is both deeply rooted and thrillingly contemporary.

Since their explosive debut in 2010 – where they swept all awards at the Nowa Tradycja Festival – VOŁOSI has gained international acclaim. In 2011, they were recognized as the best world music group by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and made it into the World Music Charts Europe Top 20.
