Tash Sultana – Return To The Roots Tour 2026

On August 16, Australian multi-instrumentalist Tash Sultana returns to Vilnius as part of their European tour. Once again, the unique setting of Lukiškės Prison 2.0 will host one of the most anticipated concerts of the summer.

The “Return To The Roots” tour is the largest of Tash Sultana’s career so far. It represents both a reflection on the past and the beginning of a new chapter. As Sultana explains:

“We’re creating a new live production. A powerful tour is coming, opening up a completely new concert experience.”

Tash Sultana identifies outside traditional gender categories. Respecting their wishes, concert organizers refer to Tash using they/them pronouns throughout event communications.

Known for extraordinary live performances, Tash Sultana creates an immersive experience that feels both meditative and euphoric. Their concerts are celebrated for their authenticity, spontaneity, and emotional intensity. Watching Tash perform often feels like witnessing several musicians on stage at once, despite the fact that it is a solo performance. Through looping, live instrumentation, and remarkable technical skill, they create a rich and expansive sound entirely on their own.

After a decade of international success, Tash Sultana has entered a period of reflection. The new EP, Return To The Roots, explores a return to artistic authenticity, shedding the pressures of fame and reconnecting with the music that first inspired them. The release draws heavily from reggae, folk, and dub influences while highlighting Sultana’s signature guitar work.

Their first performance in Lithuania, held in September 2022, became one of the standout concerts of the season, with demand exceeding the venue’s capacity. The upcoming show promises another unforgettable evening for fans old and new.
