Dance Performance for Primary School Children “Who’s Who” – PREMIERE

The performance tells the story of two athletes from different nationalities competing across various sports events. Both strive for victory, but fortune constantly changes its favorite — one moment one triumphs, the next the other. The show explores the theme of competition, delving into how to accept defeat, preserve hope, and persistently pursue goals. But it’s not only a fight for first place — it also searches for ways of friendship, reconciliation, and mutual support.

The concept and direction of the performance are by Ieva Jackevičiūtė, who uses a synthesis of dance and sport. The language of movement conveys the specific nature of different sports, their gameplay principles, and rules. The audience is not just an observer — they become active participants who can take on the roles of supporters, referees, or even the players themselves, thus immersing themselves in the dynamic world of the performance.
