Dance Performance (Not Only) for Teenagers ME TWO / SAVOJ KRŪVOJ

A dance performance that has earned critical and audience acclaim for its bold, sincere, and deeply moving stories, as well as its distinctive music and scenography.

The dramaturgy of me two / Savoj krūvoj is based on the personal experiences of a group of young dancers, addressing issues of power relations, the formation of LGBTQ+ identities, sexual harassment, and the abuse of power toward young people. The performance encourages a sense of belonging—being part of “your own group”—and sharing. Audiences are invited to look at adolescence from multiple perspectives: that of an observer, a parent, a teacher, or a decision-maker, and to reflect on the boundaries of power in interpersonal and intergenerational relationships.

“In the performance, the body frees itself from shyness, and with this act, it also liberates itself from trauma. A statement is made, followed by ‘Me too,’ ‘Me as well,’ ‘This happened to me too,’ and through this shared experience, its collective outburst becomes a form of collective healing. ‘Me too’ also leads to humorous moments, to play, and to collective joy. Here, the aesthetic impact of art is palpable. A cleansing through shared experience.”
