On September 16 at 18:00, we invite you to the presentation of Shmuel Tatzo’s exhibition catalogue “Unfinished Scores” at the M. K. Čiurlionis House.
The publication, dedicated to the collection of Litvak art accumulated by Shmuel Tatzo, was compiled by Inga and Alma Laužonytė. The catalogue accompanies the artworks with texts, reflections and different cultural perspectives, revealing the broader context of the collection.
During the evening, Antanas Andrijauskas, Saulius Pilinkus, Vytautas Rubavičius and Jūratė Landsbergytė-Becher will discuss the publication, Shmuel Tatzo’s collection, and the interconnected contexts of art, memory and culture within it.
The discussion will be complemented by a musical dialogue – tenor Rafailas Karpis and pianist Rokas Zubovas will perform songs and piano works by M. K. Čiurlionis.
We invite you to meet, see the exhibition, learn more about Shmuel Tatzo’s collection and discover together the cultural resonances woven throughout the publication.
Admission is free.
