LISTENING PARTY: SAVIMYLA – NE VELTUI NEBENORIU GYVENT

Savimyla is releasing their debut album “ne veltui nebenoriu gyvent”.

Let’s have an advance listening party!

The controversial and unconventional tracks “tėti,” and “mirtis mus išskirs” already make it clear that this listening party will not be the most emotionally peaceful evening.

Open and uncomfortable lyrics are mixed with samples from legendary Lithuanian internet videos of the 2000s, including “kieša,” “prisivažinėjom,” “antanas eina namo” and others. Humour and intimate confessions lead the listener into complete absurdity.

The album also marks a new stage in “savimyla’s” creative journey. Until now, Matas Petkūnas has mostly worked independently, but this time he invited more artists to contribute to the creative process. Leonardas Mekionis made a particularly significant contribution to the album’s sound, creating almost the entire acoustic and electric guitar parts.

We will listen to the album from beginning to end, and before and after the listening session, we will talk about the songs, how they came about and the entire creative process.

The advance album listening session will be moderated by Jonas Braškys.
