The Swiss musician masterfully blends classical music with contemporary sounds, cinematic soundscapes and even electronic music. JodokCello is more than just a name – he is a phenomenon: over 13 million social media followers worldwide, millions of views and hundreds of stories told without words, yet filled with such authenticity and emotion that they touch listeners’ hearts. Collaborations with Teddy Swims, Alan Walker, IL VOLO, Lindsey Stirling, Matteo Bocelli and many other artists, virtuoso skill, boundless talent, a free spirit and a warm smile – these are the hallmarks of JodokCello.
Jodok Vuille, known worldwide as JodokCello, was born in Switzerland, among the rolling hills of the Emmental region, where he grew up surrounded by nature and its sounds. At the age of six, he picked up a cello, and from that moment on, it became his voice. While studying at the Lucerne University of Music, JodokCello not only honed his skills but also built his own cello – an instrument he continues to use in his performances.
Inspired by the beauty of nature from an early age, the artist shares its magic through his music. He not only performs pieces from a wide range of genres with remarkable skill but also films them in some of the world’s most beautiful locations – whether on a mountain peak or with the mighty ocean providing a soundtrack behind him. The Alpine spirit and the soul of the cello, present in every piece, have captivated millions of fans around the world.
Having made the Alps his home, the musician fearlessly combines the brilliance of Johann Sebastian Bach, the emotional intensity of film scores, popular music and electronic sounds to create a distinctive new style that transcends genre boundaries. Each piece is a story in which the cello becomes a bridge between classical traditions and the contemporary world. JodokCello’s repertoire includes his own interpretations of music by Deep Purple, Metallica, Sting, Coldplay, Imagine Dragons and many others.
A cello virtuoso distinguished by his charisma and warmth, he brings together not only different musical genres but also generations of music lovers. On the evening of December 5, 2026, JodokCello will invite audiences on an enchanting musical journey – to a place where music meets the soul and every note breathes with light.
