FOLKLORE MARATHON

The “Pokrovo Varpai” Festival invites you to a colourful, multicultural and creative day-long event where traditions, crafts and music come together.

13:30–17:00 – Artistic Portraits of Festival Participants. Concert–Marathon. Over the course of several hours, more than thirty groups and performers from Lithuania, Georgia, Ukraine, Poland, Bulgaria, Norway, Spain and Latvia will take the stage. Each of them will bring their own distinctive shade of tradition – the harmony of voices, the rhythm of dance, the sound of instruments and the beauty of traditional costumes.

It will be a true celebration of Lithuania’s multicultural culture, bringing together different traditions, generations and people. Here, folklore sounds just as it lives – sincerely, vividly and without borders.
