“Dialogues with Čiurlionis” Concert — Emilis Dalgaard and Aleksander Roman

May 23, 6 PM at the M. K. Čiurlionis House. The fifth cycle of the “Dialogues with Čiurlionis” concert series will feature two young pianists — Emilis Dalgaard and Aleksander Roman.

  • R. Schumann – Sonata No. 1 in F# minor Op. 11

    • Part I: Un poco adagio – Allegro vivace

    • Part IV: Finale – Allegro un poco maestoso

About the performers:

Emilis Dalgaard began piano studies at age eight using the Suzuki method at Kolding Music School. He continues his studies at Gradus Junior College under Martin Lysholm Jepsen. Emilis has participated in numerous masterclasses with renowned pianists worldwide and has performed in Denmark, Norway, Lithuania, Finland, and Poland. He is a laureate of many national and international competitions.

Aleksander Roman is a pianist, composer, and organizer of cultural events. He began piano studies in 2019 and has steadily grown as a performer. Aleksander performs classical repertoire, his own compositions, and improvisations. Alongside his concert activities, he actively organizes various art projects. He is currently studying at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre with Aleksandra Žvirblytė and will soon continue master’s studies at the Ingesund Piano Center in Sweden.

Doors open at 5:30 PM.
