On August 25, 2026, at 8:00 PM, the final concert of the “Artists” Live series will take place in the heart of the Old Town, featuring the singing actor Andrius Kaniava accompanied by violinist Tadas Dešukas. He will present his original songs program “Songs from After Evening”.
Kaniava reflects on the program:
“These are songs that have grown older today, with experience and biography. Some are quite mature, but yesterday – they were new, young, full of promise. Some have succeeded in life, some not so much. Some are mine, rediscovered from long-forgotten drawers, others are by authors I deeply respect. I hope they will forgive me, as there’s no justified reason why I perform their songs – I simply want to. I believe life would be much more interesting if we all had the chance to follow our wishes.”
