Aidas Giniotis and “PlumBum” | “Don’t Be Afraid – It’s Us”

On October 4, 2026, at 18:00, the Church of St. Catherine in Vilnius will host a concert by Aidas Giniotis together with the group “PlumBum”.

The program titled “Nenusigąsk – tai mes” (“Don’t Be Afraid – It’s Us”) presents well-known songs by the pioneer of Lithuanian sung poetry Vytautas Kernagis, as well as works by other celebrated Lithuanian bards and music from the “Keistuolių teatras” repertoire.

“PlumBum” — a five-member ensemble of young theatre actors — joins Giniotis in reinterpreting familiar melodies through new arrangements, voices, and instrumental textures, while preserving their emotional core and sincerity.

The concert is described as “intellectual light rock,” blending theatrical expression with musical storytelling. The performers aim to revive Kernagis’ songs in a sensitive, varied, and deeply heartfelt way, creating a dialogue between generations of Lithuanian theatre and music artists.
