Acoustic: xguscia – Lukiškės Prison 2.0

Another rising name, already discovered by some, joins the series of intimate concerts at St Nicholas the Wonderworker Church, “Acoustic”. On December 28, meet xguscia and the full band at the Lukiškės Prison complex.

No electronic beats or effects – just live instruments and a voice that is equally captivating and will shine through even more.

Here’s what xguscia has to say, along with an invitation!

“Between Christmas and New Year, when the world slows down for a moment and the light of the holidays still lives in our hearts, I really want to invite you to a musical date that is incredibly special to me.

On December 28, together with my live band, we’ll give an acoustic performance at St Nicholas the Wonderworker Church.

When I first performed acoustically this summer, I realised that it was an entirely new level of performing. It opened up so many subtleties, allowing me to get closer to the emotions hidden within the songs and experience them in a different way than I ever thought I could.

I’m approaching this concert with tremendous curiosity and excitement. I feel that this evening my music will be heard in its most sensitive form yet. And with the whole band behind me! Only this time, a little differently than usual – without piercing effects or the possibility of hiding behind them. We’ll be there and perform just as we are. No more, no less.”
