LOW AIR 15 | Platform for the Future: ON SEEN, BOMBING, SAD DIVA CLUB

Vilnius City Dance Theatre “Low Air” celebrates 15 years of creative work and opens the “Platform for the Future” – a space where “Low Air” alumni meet and present their latest works.

On Saturday evening, audiences are invited to experience three works by dance artists of the younger generation. Ugnė Irena Laurinavičiūtė will present the premiere of her solo work “ON SEEN” – an exploration of the constantly changing body and its reality, shaped by the gazes of others, cultural habits and the repetitions of everyday life.

In “BOMBING”, inspired by street dance and graffiti culture, Monika Čibiraitė and Gabija Čepelytė invite audiences to reflect on defending one’s values, rebellion, risk, invisible oppression, the price of freedom and the euphoria of liberation.

In his solo work “SAD DIVA CLUB”, Rokas Bugys explores a language of love inspired by the waacking dance style and the myth of the mermaid, inviting audiences to come closer, pause, watch and taste the allure.

There will be short breaks between the performances.
