This exhibition explores the relationship between discomfort, fragility, and wild nature.
The jewelry created by the author is bulky, fragile, not always comfortable. Wearing it requires attentiveness – one careless movement can scratch the skin or damage the piece itself.
This discomfort is important. It forces you to stop, slow down, and pay attention to your body and movements.
At the same time, it invites you to turn inward – toward the instincts, fears, desires, and wild nature that we often try to hide or tame.
“Only by knowing and accepting all parts of ourselves can we become more whole. True beauty doesn’t come from perfection, but from our relationship with who we truly are,” says Karolis Cerneckis.
