To celebrate the start of the academic year, “Jazz In Case” and the “Muzikos stotis” club invite you to a free concert. Joined this time by the talented vocalist Austėja Kazlauskaitė, the quartet promises a lively evening of music pulsing with an authentic jazz spirit, where tradition meets youthful energy.

Although the club’s official new season opening is set for September 18th, we teamed up with Justas Selenis, the founder and leader of “Jazz In Case,” to bring Vilnius locals and visitors a beautiful evening of music to mark the start of the academic year—acting as a warm-up before the “Vilnius Days” festival.

The concert program will feature pieces by renowned jazz composers including Bill Evans, Bobby Timmons, George Gershwin, and Duke Ellington. Alongside traditional swing, the audience will be treated to heartfelt ballads and compositions infused with Latin rhythms.

Austėja Kazlauskaitė, currently studying vocals at the Klaipėda Stasys Šimkus Conservatoire, has already performed with the conservatoire’s big band and the Lithuanian Naval Force Band, and has also appeared on TV music projects.

The “Jazz In Case” concert held at the end of the club’s spring season drew a large crowd and received rave reviews. Tonight, the quartet returns with a slightly different lineup. Joining the group are saxophonist Davit Avetisyan—founder and leader of the jazz outfit “21st Century Quintet” and participant in various music projects—and double bassist Aistis Kondratas, a graduate of the Prince Claus Conservatoire.

We invite you to welcome the beginning of September with a jazz groove and spend the evening immersed in live music with “Jazz In Case” and their guests.
