International Museum Day at the Tuskulėnai Memorial

On May 18, International Museum Day, visitors are welcome to explore two museum exhibitions at the Tuskulėnai Memorial free of charge between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM:

• “Secrets of the Tuskulėnai Manor” (White Manor House, Žirmūnų g. 1N, Vilnius)

• “Project – HOMO SOVIETICUS” (Manor Palace, Žirmūnų g. 1F, Vilnius)

At 1:00 PM, join the guided tour “On the Path of Statehood,” offering a brief overview of 771 years of Lithuanian statehood – from the era of King Mindaugas to the Sąjūdis independence movement. The tour focuses on symbols and events that have left a lasting mark on Lithuania’s history.

• Start: Museum of Occupations and Freedom Fights (Aukų g. 2A)

• End: Tuskulėnai Memorial (Žirmūnų g. 1F)
