In 2026, the Organum Piano Hall opened its doors to a unique phenomenon in Lithuanian musical life—the piano jazz concert series “Here and Now.” The cycle consisted of five evenings of solo recitals and duo performances, dedicated to Lithuania’s most prominent jazz pianists and to the art of improvisation born in the moment.
The idea of the series was to emphasize the irreproducible nature of live creation. Each evening became a singular event with no precedent and no possibility of repetition: audiences witnessed music that truly would never be heard again. Exactly so—here and now, listeners became part of the creative process, as their emotions, reactions, and energy shaped the flow of music in real time.
The cycle featured five duo concerts, bringing together Lithuania’s leading jazz masters—improvisers, creators, and musical partners—who, each evening, created a distinctive musical world, style, dramaturgy, and aesthetic.
This expanded project is crowned by an exceptional phenomenon never before seen in Lithuania—the Grand Piano Evening, during which five pianos and all ten pianists of the cycle will unite on a single stage, merging their individual improvisational languages into one monumental musical whole.
At the sixth and final concert of the series, “Here and Now GRAND,” all ten artists will perform and improvise simultaneously: Petras Vyšniauskas, Tomas Kutavičius, Petras Geniušas, Egidijus Buožis, Dmitrij Golovanov, Paula Bagotyriūtė, Dainius Pulauskas, Artūras Anusauskas, Arūnas Šlaustas, and Andrius Savčenko.
Do not miss this opportunity to witness a truly unique musical event. Until we meet—here and now, in the moment!
