The Gypsy Swing 4 quartet invites you to Midnight in Paris—an enchanting evening inspired by European jazz traditions, where romance and emotion intertwine with vibrant rhythms, dazzling acoustic improvisations, and the rich, velvety voice of Gabija Baužaitė. The program features music by legendary Gypsy jazz pioneers such as Django Reinhardt and Biréli Lagrène, alongside timeless swing classics made famous by Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Prima, and Ethel Waters. The quartet will also perform contemporary jazz and world music by artists including Cyrille Aimée, Pink Martini, and other renowned musicians, with songs presented in several languages.

Adding warmth, elegance, and emotional depth to the evening is vocalist Gabija Baužaitė. Known for her expressive performances across jazz, R&B, and soul projects, her powerful yet intimate voice leaves a lasting impression on every audience.

One of Lithuania’s leading accordionists, Nerijus Bakula, has performed at numerous jazz festivals and international music projects across Europe. A true virtuoso, he brings to life the sounds once heard in the cafés and streets of Paris while showcasing the accordion’s remarkable place in jazz.

Joining Nerijus is acclaimed guitarist Aidas Tamulevičius, whose passion for traditional jazz, swing, and jazz manouche (Gypsy jazz) has earned him recognition as the 1st Prize winner in the Jazz/Acoustic category at Tamsta GUITAR DAY ’26. Completing the instrumental trio is the talented double bassist Aistis Kondratas. Together, the trio recently captivated audiences with a highly praised performance at the Kaunas Philharmonic Hall.
