We invite you to the newest branch of the National Museum of Lithuania, the Castellan’s House, to explore Lithuania in a unique way. The museum’s distinctive feature is the thematic, rather than chronological, telling of history. In the exhibition ‘Understanding Lithuania’ you will learn about the key ideas that shaped Lithuania’s identity, and during the guided tour you will learn about the main factors that shaped Lithuania’s history and culture, as well as experience how the concept of storytelling unfolds in a modern museum space. In this museum, everyone can become part of it by contributing to the creation of the Castellan’s House through interactive means.
