Get ready for the thunder of metal music: French monsters “Gojira” are coming to Vilnius

On 21 August 2025, Lukiškės Prison 2.0 will become the epicentre of heavy music – metal giants, the French band “Gojira”, will come to Lithuania. This creative and energetic band is not only known for its intense sound, but also for its unstoppable desire to push the boundaries of heavy music. Fans in Vilnius will have the opportunity to experience the energy and unique charisma of this spectacular band up close. This concert in Vilnius will be the band’s only performance in Lithuania.

“Gojira” captivates its fans with powerful rhythms, constantly pushing the evolution of heavy music and breaking all boundaries. To date, the band has earned three GRAMMY nominations and made Rolling Stone’s “ The 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time” list with “From Mars To Sirius” (2005). Their discography includes albums such as “L’Enfant Sauvage” (2012) and “Magma” (2016), but in 2021 they reached new heights with “Fortitude”. The album debuted at No.1 on the “Billboard Top Album Sales Chart” and “Top Current Album Sales Chart”, becoming the best-selling album of the week, and reached No.12 on the “Billboard 200”, the highest of their career.

Gojira – Silvera

The band took the world by storm at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics with the song “Mea Culpa (Ah! Ça ira!)”, which reached number one on the US “Hard Rock Digital Song Sales” list.  French metal band “Gojira” made history at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics, becoming the first metal band to perform at the event.
