Free Sunday – Energy and Technology Museum

On the last Sunday of the month, the Energy and Technology Museum invites you to visit for free!

Dive into the world of science at the largest technology museum in Lithuania, where inspiring guided tours, educational workshops, and many other activities await you!

• EXHIBITION “NIKOLA TESLA – THE ENERGY THAT CHANGED THE WORLD”

The new international exhibition at the museum invites you to explore Tesla’s revolutionary inventions – from alternating current and the Tesla coil to visions of wireless power transmission – and experience how bold thinking and innovation shaped today’s technological world.

• TRANSFORMATION HALL

The Transformation Hall is an interactive exhibition exploring humanity’s relationship with energy. It was created to inspire interest in science and technology and to present exact sciences in an accessible and engaging way. Guided tours take place at 11:15 AM, 12:45 PM, 2:30 PM, and 4:00 PM.

• 3D PENS

All day long, young museum visitors will be invited to develop their creativity in workshops where they can trace selected designs using special 3D pens, turning their drawings into unique souvenirs.

• EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOP “WATER ROCKET”

We will discover the history of rocket invention and learn the principles behind how they work. Applying this new knowledge, we will build and launch a working rocket. Get ready for a water rocket takeoff!

• EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOP “JUTE WORKSHOP”

Jute is a simple yet surprising fiber that conceals many stories. During this workshop, participants will discover how it was used in the past, where it is found today, and craft their own jute bracelet.
