The Cinematheque hall invites moviegoers to free film screenings at 7.00 p.m. on Thursdays!
February 20 will see the launch of a weekly 16 mm film repertoire.
In cooperation with the Lithuanian Central State Archives, we would like to introduce the history of the Lithuanian cinema to the audience and to demonstrate less frequently shown original works by filmmakers.
During the screenings, films will be demonstrated just straight from the film reel, thus not only showing the work in its original form but also giving the audience the viewing experience, they could have in the days when the film was made.
The film repertoire will be periodically updated (see it on the web site: www.lietuvoskinas.info).
