“Dialogues of Nations: Music, Art and Voices of History”

“Dialogues of Nations: Music, Art and Voices of History” is a unique cultural project, the axis of which is the synthesis of music, art and historical narrative, which seeks to show the essence of Vilnius as a multicultural city and create a space for the communion of different nations and cultural dialogue. The project not only introduces the public to the folk music of different nations, but also invites us to remember the history of Vilnius as a home of many nations, united by art and creativity.

In Gediminas’ letters, Vilnius was presented as an open and hospitable city, inviting people of different nations to create, trade and cooperate. Today, this face of Vilnius becomes even more important – with increasing migration flows and sometimes confrontations, it is necessary to remind us of the city’s history, in which the coexistence of cultures was a fundamental value.

The project is FREE, we are waiting for everyone on May 3 at 6 p.m. Lithuanian Artists’ Union (Vokiečių g. 4, Vilnius)

Project artists:
• Darius Mažintas – internationally recognized pianist, cultural figure, known for educational and social projects in various countries of the world. The pianist’s initiatives, such as concerts in hospitals, prisons and war-torn territories of Ukraine, demonstrate the power of music to help people, promote community and mutual understanding.
• Agnė Sabulytė – singer, poet and initiator of cultural projects. Her ability to authentically convey folk songs gives the concert a special atmosphere.
• Edita Suchockytė – recognized painter and graphic artist, whose works balance between classical professionalism and creative lightness. Her paintings, inspired by folk songs of nations, will become a great visual complement to the music.
The work of these artists emphasizes the universality of art and its ability to unite people, regardless of their nationality, culture or language.
