This year, the even bigger and more abundant fair of folk art works and culinary heritage ‘Darbas meistrą giria’ will invite you to walk not only along the central path of the Bernardinai Gardens, but also to enjoy the meandering Vilnelė riverbank.
Visitors to the fair will find a wide variety of products, including ceramics, leather, wood and textiles, handmade jewellery and beeswax candles, while the delicious smells of bread, meats, delicious drinks and other delicacies will entice you.
The International Folklore Festival “Skamba skamba kankliai” is one of the few festivals of authentic ethnic music in Europe that allows everyone to immerse themselves in the world of Lithuanian and foreign folklore. Every year the festival suggests various events, including captivating concerts of Lithuanian and foreign performers, massive singing evenings, night-time dances, a fair of folk artists and craftsmen and other activities. It will allow you to search for new and already traditional harmonies while joining the sound of the festival and this memorable Year of Lithuanian Folk Songs.
