“Čiurlionis’ songs – echoing time… Moments of music, filled with the singing of Lithuanian generations, give rise to the hope that our descendants will also sing these old songs.” (Viktorija Daujotytė)
The program will feature Čiurlionis’ arrangements of old folk songs for choir and organ music. The choir and chamber choir “Aidija” of the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Art will sing, Rimvydas Mitkus will play the organ, and Romualdas Gražinis will conduct. Pianist Rokas Zubovas and students from the contemporary dance program of the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Art will also participate in the concert.
The program is organized by the Čiurlionis House in Vilnius in cooperation with the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Art.
