They say you need two to tango. However this time it’ll be performed by three, begging the question – why Tango N? According to the musicians, the tango is more than just a passion-filled dance. It is yet to be known, appreciated and unveiled… It contains inner struggles, nostalgia, unfulfilled dreams and untold desires. So the enticement of dizzying melodies can just as quickly turn to deep dramatism, all without warning.

This is the image of the tango the Kaunas Piano Trio are set to share with their audiences. They are a collective Lithuanian and foreign audiences are perfectly familiar with, especially admired for the conceptual nature of their programmes, the variety of their repertoire, and their determination not to take the easy road.

With their musical sounds the trio will deliver you straight to the streets of the Argentine capital. But how you’ll feel there and whether you’ll find the answer to your N is all up to you… Intriguing, isn’t it!
