“This project is unique in that flamenco is given a new lease on life, when the legendary works of Albéniz, such as “Asturias” or “Cadiz”, are combined with Carlos Piñana’s original compositions. These are two musical universes that seem to talk to one another, while our dances help transform this dialogue into a living experience. Sensation is what is most important to me. Flamenco is the emotions expressed through the body, while classical music is the emotions expressed through sound. When these two worlds merge on the stage, something truly special is born”, says Baños.
